Kia is refreshing its lineup for 2025 with the all-new K4. The Ray Skillman Southside Kia team has the full 2025 Kia K4 trim level breakdown for you.

The compact K4 replaces the Kia Forte and slots below the K5. As the subcompact Rio has also ended production, the K4 is now the entry point to Kia’s sedan offerings. The K4 is slightly larger than the outgoing Forte and comes in five trim levels.

Kia K4 LX

The base trim for the K4 is the LX. It starts at an affordable entry price of just over $23,000. The standard engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder that carries over from the Forte. It puts out 147 horsepower as combined with a CVT. The LX is reasonably well-equipped for a base trim with features like adaptive cruise control, remote engine start, LED headlights, and heated side mirrors. Inside, the K4 LX includes keyless ignition, power locks and windows, Apple/Android integration, and Bluetooth.

Kia K4 LXS

The next step up from the base trim is the LXS, with a starting price of just over $24,000. The LXS trim includes the features from the LX as well as the 2.0-liter engine. However, it adds alloy wheels, whereas the LX only comes with steel wheels. The LXS also has a blind spot monitor system and a second-row trunk pass-through that the base trim does not have. The LXS adds four more exterior paint color choices over the base LX trim.

Kia K4 EX

In the middle of the lineup is the EX trim. Like the lower trims, it has cloth seats, a motion-activated trunk lid, and the same powertrain featuring the 2.0-liter engine. The EX features alloy wheels like the LXS, but they come in a 17-inch size vs. the 16-inch size on the LXS and LX trims. Safety features include a backup camera, traction control, stability control, and active lane-keep assist. Inside, the EX is the first trim level to feature dual-zone automatic climate control. The Kia K4 EX has a starting price of just over $25,000.

Kia K4 GT-Line

The GT-Line trim is expected to start at around $26,000. Compared to the gray upholstery of the other trims, the GT-Line features a stylish two-tone upholstery of Onyx and Off-White. Like the EX trim, the GT-Line features standard alloy wheels, but it adds some exterior features like fog lights and a rear spoiler that are unavailable on lower trims.

Kia K4 GT-Line Turbo

At the top of the Kia K4 lineup is the GT-Line Turbo. This model is likely to start at around $29,000. Instead of the 2.0-liter engine, the GT-Line Turbo features a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine that makes 190 horsepower. The CVT is still standard, and there’s no manual transmission option for any K4 model. A surround-view camera is optional in this trim, whereas it’s not available in the other trims. Like the regular GT-Line, the Turbo model also features fog lights and a rear spoiler.
