Okay thought I put a post already, but I am so happy with my purchase that I'll take the time to say it again... Seriously got me in there, I want sure if I'd get what I was wanting, but the team there made it happen, what seems like no problems. Guess when you're good, you make it look easy. Sadly, I had to wait for a day to get my car, because they had to pick it up from Avon... But you know what.... They let me drive a brand new 2019 Scion, one of those boxy SUV like vehicles, not what I bought, but it was cool to drive around for a day. I just thought the loaner car was cool personally. Keith made sure he did what he could to get me on the car I wanted, and was I stubborn on that choice... also the whole staff at Ray Skillman was eager to assist, so thank you for that. They were helpful, informative about payments, financing, everything. Even to the point where they were making sure I was gonna be able to make the payments. Now most car dealers don't care if you can make the payment or not, they just want a sale. But Ray Skillman, seems like they care, which is something you don't find everyday. Keith with the Townsend Team helped me, was honestly super helpful, and kept working at it until he got me what I wanted. Oh, and I have worked on cars for over half my life, but when I found out about the warranty they offer, I got the 5 year bumper to bumper warranty, I was so looking forward to 5 years of not having to deal with anything that comes up, I jumped at the deal. Again I've spent years of my life fixing up my own and my families vehicles. Cars nowadays are getting to the point that, you have to have gone to school for that vehicle. So just a suggestion, if you can get the warranty, I highly recommend it. My bro, said why even get it? It most likely won't even break down in 5 yrs anyway, but to me, the piece of mind was completely worth it. Oh, if you purchase a vehicle there, and end up referring someone, you can get a check for like $100 or $150 can't remember exact, so if by chance I swayed you, feel free to tell them Chris Coates referred you. Honestly a good place to shop, for someweird reason I take my Google map reviews serious, obviously you can make your own decisions, but at least check the place out. You might be surprised at what you can find there. Thanks again to everyone at Ray Skillman Kia, I'm officially impressed with the Kia brand, and have a new respect for the entire line of vehicles. Hopefully I don't have to use the warranty, but I'm happy it's there.
Extremely impressed, if I could give this location 10 stars I would! I just had the best experience both with Tyler in the parts department and Courtney is the service department. Usually the customer service in the auto industry is less than stellar, but these two folks really exceeded my expectations! I went ahead an placed my order strictly because of how great their customer service was and typically I call around to get at least 5 quotes from different locations. I will most definitely be using this location again for all my Kia needs. Thanks Tyler and Courtney! 🙂
The people that work here are very friendly and accommodating. Like most dealerships, pricing is a little higher than other auto shops. They do a good job at fixing all recalls and will let you know what services are needed. Waiting room is clean and has televisions to watch while you wait, but you can not pick the channel you watch. There are vending machines available.
Loved being greeted as I entered the parking lot and continued to be as I was shown, test drove and purchased a new 2019 Kia Sportage Lx Awd. No pressure, no question was look at as a chore. As I entered I was immediately told all salesman were salaried and not commissioned....and told that the customer is like family to them. Which I hold to be very true since buying my first Kia Sportage from same dealership back in 2007. I will be referring friends to them when they are ready to purchase new vehicles.
